「Friendly service. So convenient having the pub downstairs with great food and wine. I can imagine that the shared bathroom could be problematic if there were a number of guests, but it was ok during our stay. The double bed was firm and very comfortable.」

「A beautiful, well appointed, historic country Hotel. Period features well preserved and maintained throughout. Staff accommodating, and genuine. Food was incredible ... you have to try the meatballs!」

「The service from the manager very exceptional and we had a great chat about cricket (both our teams lost unlosable tests a couple of days later lol). The room itself was quite good, WiFi worked and I was able to connect the TV to other devices well. No issues with the bed. The shower worked well. Probably needs a different style vent system up the top. Very easy walk into town and no road noise. A pleasant experience.」

「It has everything you need however I wouldn’t stay again unless I was desperate. It was extremely cold in the bedroom during the night and the place wasn’t very clean and just generally run down.」

「Room was OK if basic. Bed comfortable. One power point. Shared bathroom at end of corridor. Main problem was the noise from the bar directly underneath the room. Impossible to sleep until midnight. I left after one night and hotel refunded payment for second night.」
