The people were so friendly, choices of places to eat very varied, lovely meals were had at Foxtons, Amran and Audela Would definitely go back.






Staff very friendly, room 4 was perfect, spotless and recently refurbished bathroom. 24 hr parking at railway station for £3.70 so car was securely parked yet heard no noise from station in our room. From the min we arrived staff were helpful & polite, our room was spotless, bed was amazingly comfortable (best sleep i.v had in a while), room temp was lovely & warm & easily adjusted, food was delicious & good value. Amazing location in the border areas of Scotland, lovely home, fully equipped with everything you would ever need, and more. Friendly locals. Great shops and stunning vistas.
Some great little restaurants on Bridge Street, including the Curfew micropub.
Nice town to wander about. I enjoyed the Barracks and castle walls.
