A True Gem with Bahama Island Vibes Love, love, love this house. It is a gem. It had everything we expected and more. The location is one mile from the beach in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a laid back island feel to it. All the rooms were cute and comfy and the house was extremely well-equipped from top to bottom. The kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, glasses etc. that made meals easy., plus cleaning products and cooking accessories. The frig water and ice maker dispenser was broken but there was a separate ice machine which helped a lot. There were so many extras that the owner provided ...from extra bathroom towels, shampoo condition and body soap in each bathroom including the outdoor shower to extra blankets and pillows. It was very pet friendly with fenced in side yard. Also lots of games, dog toys, coolers and travel cups. So thoughtful! Kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella and other beach items were perfect for our group. The back yard screened-in porch and patio had a nice view of the pond and there were lots of birds, deer, ducks and other creatures to enjoy. Also, the house is located close to the Assawoman Canal for some kayaking. This was our first time vacationing in a Delaware beach town, we hope to be back!
