Absolutely fantastic staycation, literally home from home all you need to take is clothes and yourse

Absolutely fantastic staycation, literally home from home all you need to take is clothes and yourselves. Food you can get from local supermarkets about 25min drive in the direction of Bideford or Bude. Lodge is set with the most scenic background, you can see the mist first thing in the morning when cleared reveals the beautiful countryside. You get used to the single track roads that's what makes it a great holiday coming head to head with tractors etc. There is also a fresh milk vending machine which is about 8 mins drive.. Here you can get flavoured milk too. The vending machine is located just outside a private farm and you can see the cows in the distance very cute. In the week we stayed we had 4 bottles of milk and the day we left bought another two. Well worth the money. 💯% recommend you try the milk. The lodge has an electric fireplace which warms up really quickly and retains the heat making it very cosy. We recommend this lodge to those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of london.
