“Some of the staff were less than helpful, I felt that the restaurant and bar staff were not well trained, at 4:30 pm they wouldn’t serve us because they were changing their lunch menu to dinner menu at 5:00pm at the bar we were the only guests and our son was not allowed to seat in, the sign posted at the door said no minors after 5:00pm, the room AC was very loud and the pool water chemicals were very harsh on our eyes, great architecture and the decor was very nicely done, the cleaning staff……

“The staff was warm and friendly. They checked in with me after I booked the room and then after I checked in too make sure all was well. I arrived in the evening, 10 minutes before their complimentary dinner service was over. They offered to make me a plate. It was like showing up at a friend’s house.”

“A great place to stay if you are visiting the McDonald Observatory. It’s quiet, very comfortable and fully furnished. Hosts were supportive and patient. My family fell in love with this place to a level we are likely to come back early next year.”
