"It was a little run down but in a good location for access to many things but I would not stay here again. "

"This is one of the most depressing hotel I have stayed in my life. When we reached the hotel, we were told the elevator is out of service. We had to carry our luggage through emergency exit stairs. The room had a musty odor as we entered. Carpet was old and wrinkled and missing in some places. Furniture was poor quality. One of the drawers was broken. Bathroom was cramped. I had to step inside the tub to close the door. Bathroom door had been patched in a different color. Tiles around bathtub were cracked. The breakfast was limited and didn't taste good. Scrambled eggs tasted bad. Forks and spoons were the cheap plastic kind. Only food item we liked was yogurt cups. The pool had been drained and had trash in it. Laundry machine was broken so we couldn't use it. Overall it has a poor experience. This hotel is in a serious need of renovation."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-day visit to Wilmington Island, just a short drive to Savannah, and Tybee Island. This is a lovely coastal/riverfront area. Our VRBO rental was perfect--bright, very spacious, clean, quiet, homey, private and convenient. We were happy to have a full kitchen and laundry, and everything was exactly as stated. Our hosts were very accommodating with late arrival and departure times, and were very thoughtful and welcoming. The property is nicely maintained, with lush green wooded areas surrounding it, and across the street from the Savannah River. We hope to stay there the next time we visit. "

"the evening check-in person was pleasant. The morning clerk wasn't very nice. The floor wasn't vacuumed. I . stepped on a screw dropped my glass of diet coke all over the floor. told him what happened couldn't have cared less. Yet he asked my husband if his coffee was ok? Not sure i will stay in a spark hotel again"

"I liked my room very much. It had everything I needed, including things I didn't.... blow dryer, fridge, microwave. The beds were very comfortable with a variety of pillows and the linens felt good. I had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The breakfast is convenient and good. I've stayed here twice and will stay again in 6 months. The staff were all friendly. The facility was clean and quiet."
