Für die Keys ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Etwas abseits, was aber okay ist. Direkt zum baden im Meer ist keine Stelle vorhanden, dafür ein kleiner Pool. Für's Meer sollte man eher nach KeyWest fahren, was ca. 30-40min. entfernt ist. Zum Einkaufen ist ein großer Supermarkt direkt an der Hauptstraße, wohin man zur Unterkunft kommt. Fußläufig ist eine Bar (No-Name-Bar), welche ganz okay ist.

We stayed 4 night and it was absolutely amazing experience. Location to stores and restaurants was very close. Room/Boat was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. I was extremely disappointed with the Hammerhead floating cabin. It looked nothing like the photos. The listing shows a bright, clean, fresh space with clear windows, but in reality the walls and ceiling were in rough condition and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was a major issue. There was a large fish hook left on the decking that could have injured my dog or me. Trash was stuffed in the patio table umbrella hole, a beer cap was left on the deck, crumbs were around the toaster, residue was smeared on the countertops, and dirt was on the floor. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out. The setup was uncomfortable and poorly arranged. The dining table sat directly next to the window AC unit, making it loud with cold air blowing on us. You couldn’t properly face the TV from the table, and from the couch you had to turn your head sideways. The couch was extremely uncomfortable and worn. There was no hot water in the shower. In the bedroom, cords were shoved beside the nightstand, which could be a safety issue for kids. A note asking for a cleaning tip $$ which felt inappropriate given the condition. It also wasn’t disclosed that someone would enter Thursday morning to service the toilet, what an inconvenience. The “view” was mostly a rusted boat and gas can. Overall, it was a major letdown. Maybe, the other floating cabins were maintained better????

First visit to OWB was in 2012 with two friends. Since then I always wanted to return and now almost 14 years later I finally get the chance. So we go in January of 2026 to OWB. Checked in on a Saturday and checked out on following Monday. I'm still somewhat embarrassed for myself for not researching the NEW OLD WOODEN BRIDGE which is obviously under new management. I had a list of major complaints but soon realized after I talked to the "manager" TONI, that these issues were not applicable because there were no complaints or issues filed with said "manager" at the time of problem occurrence. That would have been cool if T**i or any other "manager" had been present. When I mentioned something to staff about these issues, it was a response of, you know, "that idiot look" that people give you when they know the situation is ****** up. What we recieved wasn't worthy of being call "accommodations". I'm embarrassed that OWB dropped the ball so completely when handling our situation. This place is a TOURIST TRAP. No housekeeping the entire stay. No new towels or washcloths Beds never made up One trashbag for entire stay Bugs No t.v. No internet (would not come and fix) Boat rental was a complete disaster Janky old boat was rented to us(22'seafox) 3*0.00 for the day and we boarded at 10:30 not 8am as advertised. We stayed in a duplex with our kids. The property showed some wear and could use a bit of maintenance, but considering the price—and the excellent location just 45 minutes from Key West, 15 minutes from the Seven Mile Bridge, and close to other attractions—it wasn’t bad at all. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. The location itself isn’t fancy, but it’s quiet, tucked away, and peaceful. A cute and friendly family of Key deer visited us every day, which was an awesome experience, especially for the kids. At night, we walked to the bridge with flashlights and were able to spot fish, crabs, and even a shark. We also rented kayaks from the office for $30 for the whole day, which was a great deal. Kayaking along the shore was beautiful—we saw fish, an octopus, and another shark. Winn-Dixie is only a 10‑minute drive away and has a good variety of groceries, which was very convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Nice location, People were friendly, aqua lodge was clean and pool was nice. Could use a tiki bar with food on premises. Would stay again.

All was great except for some sort of fly larve all over the floor when we arrived. The place was clean except for those live critters - once we picked them up, it was fine. Staff was attentive when communicating about a late arrival.

Our room had not been cleaned. Floors were dirty and there were some a red stains on the sink Many of the the fixtures were rusted or falling apart. The kitchen door off its hinges, front door lock needs to be replaced.It was hard to open and close. staff was unfriendly and unhelpful

We stayed in a ground cottage ( yellow ) it was what i expected. No frills but clean. The pool was nice but cold ( January) the beds were comfy and the air works well. The hot water is tricky and we only had tv for one out of 5 days. Told the staff at least 3 times with no success. The wifi is very spotty also. The place is very convenient to fishing and the name bar but that is it.
