I would like to thank a Caroline who asked the kitchen to put 2 Sunday rost aside for us and as she left at the end of her shift on reception came into the sitting to tell us she had made sure we would have a rosy dinner that evening ”

“Stayed at The Old Store guest house with my daughter for 2 nights. We loved everything about our stay. Spacious room in the eves, very clean, very comfortable bed, well appointed room, plenty room in the shower room to lay out your toiletries, good shower, lovely view over the countryside. Loved the dining room with its big rustic style tables. We are happy to share a big table with others. Great breakfast, good home cooked food. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. ”
