"We had a great stay over a long bank holiday weekend and was perfect for our family of 4 (5 and 3 year old). Comms were great and it had everything we needed for a short break. Lovely peaceful location and in close proximity to everything we needed"

"Lovely hotel with gorgeous decor, comfortable rooms & bed, and very nice breakfast. We had no hot water due to a plumbing issue the first day but this was rectified the next day. Otherwise a perfect stay. The Fauna Brewery opposite worth a visit!"

"Really nice staff, very welcoming it’s looking a little tired now in communal areas and bathroom but lovely grounds to walk around. Unfortunately our evening meal came out cold and then came back microwaved after sending it back."

"Lots of space for cars at the front of the barn. Dog friendly with enclosed front and back gravel/stone garden and a very close by small paddock for doggie toilet. Dogs not allowed upstairs or on furniture as expected. Jo met me as I arrived and was very welcoming. Easy access through coded gate to the barn. Fabulous wood burner and plenty of logs as a welcome supply ( more available to buy too). A beautiful family place to stay. "
