「The accommodation in the annex was a little way away from town, but walkable. We arrived a bit early, trying to avoid the rain on bicycles - but staff were understanding and prioritised getting our room ready. Felt uncomfortable arriving by bike, as no options for storing the bikes were provided, and perhaps this might be considered as the location is on the Rebellion Way, which many touring cyclists are doing.」

「Stayed in one of the Standard rooms which was fine. The room was clean, and bright. All the required facilities/features were there. This was only a short stay and the room was more than adequate as only being used as a base. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The staff we spoke to were all polite and helpful.」

「Sue & her husband welcome us and staff with all our needs, very friendly, excellent in all ways nothing was too much trouble for them. 「Excellent pub with excellent food, lovely rooms. Carpet in the hall up to room very dirty and cleaner said she could not scrub it, because of what it was made of. I thought a bit impractical if that was the case. The rest of the place was spotless. The food was excellent. Area and atmosphere great. I would definitely return. 」

「Just went that extra bit to make the stay really lovely. Gin and cocktails in the room was a nice touch, as was personal service from the owner. You could tell he was very proud of it. Excellent breakfast too. Just be aware, Hotels.com don’t tell you the restaurant and bar are closed Mon and Tue, and places to eat in BM are few. Loved the attention to detail in No29 and would definitely stay again. Thank you 🙏」

「A very comfortable room (but if you're over 6 feet tall take a hard hat!), really comfortable bed, great shower, and lovely touches in the room on arrival such as a complimentary gin & tonic, carrot cake, and biscuits.
