Very beautiful property with lovely sunrises over the sea. Good options for visiting islands by boat, kayaking, snorkeling etc though the setup is slightly rustic. If you are going in the hot season though, beware that the air conditioning is underpowered and rooms get quite hot though the staff were able to provide us with a couple of fans.

If you are looking for a place just to relax and enjoy the beach - this is it! Great for people who are traveling with very young children or a couple who just want to get away and enjoy a good book.

A little haven reachable within 2 hours from Spore
Being a rather commercialised island that Bintan is, Trikora is a rare find if you are looking for serenity and tranquility. The resort only has a total of 25 rooms/villas, and there is ample space to feel the ultimate privacy at all times. Activities are limited so you can focus on the sun, sea and sand! The only not so wonderful part is the quality of the food served at their one and only restaurant, hopefully it is only because I have been unlucky with my choices, otherwise it is a perfect getaway for anyone who wishes to de-fragment and to de-stress from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Nice hotel, close to the beach. Pool was good and clean. The rooms had a nice urban experience. Staff was very helpful however some of the dining staff had limited understanding of English which needs to be improved. More variety of food selection at breakfast and dinner can be improved

Wonderful beachside location
But sadly the road runs quite close too so road noise in the evenings and early mornings is a nuisance. However it didn’t spoil our wonderfully restful few days here.

Corner of heaven
Trikora Resort is amazing! It gives you a kampong feeling, yet being clean, modern, safe and super comfortable. It's quiet, with great food, and excellent massage service. I'm really looking forward to go back to this corner of heaven. The staff was always friendly and helpful, trying their best to accommodate all our logistic requests.

Entspannung aber nur für Naturliebhaber
Wer Eco möchte kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Aber eben nicht beim Preis. Die Häuser sind offen gebaut, so dass wir trotz zweimaligem Umzug in ein neues Zimmer die Tierwelt der sonst trostlosen Umgebung im Zimmer hatten. Wer darüber hinweg sehen kann, kann sicher auch die sonst sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage und den Strand genießen. Der Pool ist super, der Strand so lala. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und im Rahmen ihrer Möglichkeiten bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Fazit 3 Sterne Hotel zum 5 Sterne Preis.

Original style, harmony and 100% relaxation
We loved the authentic and original style and interior decor in rooms. Simple yet stylish and in harmony with surrounding nature. Location right at the Beach on the east coast provided a constant lovely sea breeze/wind. Outstanding staff who really made us feel welcome and at home.

Beach front resort - nice food.
Unfortunately our room backed onto a main road and due to the thin roof construction amplified the road traffic which meant we were getting up at 6am. Other rooms are further away from the road though so you may be lucky. Other than that it has a nice infinity pool and they can also organise a good boat snorkelling tour which i would reccomend as the water is a bit cloudy with sand near the resort so visibility isn't great. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Prices were inflated relative to the surrounding area but not ridiculously so. Was popular with families with children so bear this in mind if you dont like kids!

Nice location, very serene.
Good location, far from the madness, very rustic. Food quality and service (no phones in the room, is a lil painful) can be improved. We were all adults, hence managed fine, ppl with kids may have some challenge, though there were families with small kids and seemed comfortable.

Perfect place
It was the most calm and beautiful vacation I've ever had. The rooms are clean, the pool is super nice and the beach is close to the rooms. The food price is also reasonable.

I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Trikora. The friendly staff are kind, attentive and truly hospitable. The beach is scenic and the property provides a perfect weekend getaway.

seclude but noisy
very secluded location, had the beach all to our selves, hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. inhouse dinner choices are scarce. suggestions: secure your tax trip returning to the ferry beforehand, the hotel arranged one was over priced. rent a moped from the hotel staffs and venture outside for local food.

Nice hotel - close to the beach
Great place to unwind for a couple of days. Beach clean and safe and a nice pool if you want the alternative. Room was clean and nice rustic furniture - mozzie net was definitely required. There didn't appear to be a bar so bring your own wine.

Sehr netter Empfang und überaus nettes Personal. Sehr sauber, sehr einsam und damit sehr erholsam. Toller Pool und gutes Essen. Leider nur Bier, ansonsten kein Alkoholausschank.

A nice relaxing break away from the crowd
this property is 1 hour away from the ferry terminal so you are far away from the crowd of tourists. If you want a break to relax this is perfect. Unfortunately the restaurant is average and there are not too many options around. That would be the only challenge. However I would come back!

Cadre magnifique, Personnel très serviable et gentil. Souvent très calme la semaine puis complet le we. Préférer les bungalow 1,2,3,4,5 proches de la mer et loin de la route (qui est plutôt bruillante) Les jus de fruits frais sont un réel délice. La carte du Restaurant est très limitée en cuisine locale indonésienne et compte tenu qu'il n'y a pas d'autres restaurants au alentour , au delà de 2 jours de présence, on ne mange plus que le fried Rice chicken..... Spot de kitesurf (dec, janv, fev, puis juillet août ) avec possibilité de downwind et retour en voiture. sinon les jours sans vent , pratique du paddle.

Abgelegenes, ruhiges Resort zum Entspannen
Das Resort liegt etwa 1h Taxifahrt vom Fährterminal im Nordwesten Bintans entfernt. Der Transport kann über das Resort gebucht werden, was empfehlenswert ist. Der Fahrer empfing uns direkt am Terminal und brachte uns unkompliziert zu unserer Unterkunft. Das Personal war durchgehend überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkünfte bestehen aus zwei verschiedenen Kategorien von Strandhütten und Bungalows, die allesamt alleinstehend auf einem sehr netten Grundstück irgendwo im nirgendwo im Osten Bintans sind. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und wirkt einfach, aber recht neu mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Es gibt ein einfaches Restaurant mit ca. 20 verschiedenen Gerichten. Man isst sehr schön draußen direkt in Meernähe oder in einem überdachten Bereich. Die Anlage bietet Wassersport-Aktivitäten an (haben wir nicht ausprobiert) und hat einen sehr schönen Pool, so dass man die Wahl hat, ob man ins Meer und/oder in den Pool will. Der Privat-Strand ist schön, wenn auch nicht traumhaft, und ist direkt am Resort. Man läuft 10m und ist im Wasser! Es gibt nicht viele Strandliegen, aber die, die vorhanden sind, sind sehr schön verteilt. Die Unterkünfte sind einfach, aber liebevoll ausgestattet und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Insgesamt gibt es nicht viel in Fußreichweite zu unternehmen. Das macht das Entspannen aber umso leichter. Wir empfehlen das Resort, wenn man abseits der üblichen Beton-Bauten das Gefühl haben möchte, man sei auf einer kleinen einsamen Insel mit nur ein paar anderen Leuten.

Sehr strandnah, allerdings gibt es nichts in der Nähe. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Schöne Unterkunft.

Traditionell-süsses Resort in Indonesien
Das Trikora Beach Resort besticht durch seine Reduziertheit und Einfachheit. Die Hütten/Villen sind dennoch modern gestaltet und es fehlt nichts. Tagsüber war der Aufenthalt nahezu paradiesisch in dem tollen Umfeld von Palmen und Meer. Es waren auch keine bis kaum andere Gäste dort. Der Strand gehörte nahezu uns allein. WLAN am Strand war ein einmaliger Service. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Leider sind die Hütten nicht Ungeziefer-dicht, was man nachts bemerkt (Geckos, Kakerlake). In der Umgebung gibt es nahezu nichts. Das hilft total beim Abschalten. Leider ist man dadurch komplett auf das gastronomische Angebot des Resorts angewiesen. Das ist sehr gut, jedoch gibt es kein Sprudelwasser und auch keine Cola Light/Zero.

Restful stay on the beach
This basic but acceptable hotel gave us restful holiday on the beach. The rooms closer to the beach avoided the noisy road which affected adversely the rooms backing onto the fence. However the mosquitoes were a problem in the rooms nearer the beach. There was oil residue in the sand on the beach. However the water was clear and wonderful to swim in.
