Location was only about 8 mins from concert Venue (Avondale Brewing Company) Has eating and Walmart near to grab a few things if needed. Hall Floors needed cleaning free from visual stains, but ok for an overnight stay. Felt Safe as well.

This building seems to be in a battle with moisture that it appears to be losing. The buildout and our room had rust everywhere, peeling paint, odd smells and an overall inescapable mugginess. One of the beds had some unidentifiable brown streaks that gave us pause. I’ve noticed a pattern of responses blaming guests for not being proactive or fast enough in their complaints. To that possible point, my wife and I had just buried her mother, were on no sleep and had literally just a few hours before a 10 hour flight home. We hadn’t the energy or the will to make a fuss or try to switch hotels. We just wanted to try to get a little rest and we got it, that’s why it’s 2 stars instead of 1.

A variety of breakfast options from day to day for guests who stay multiple days would enhance the overall breakfast experience. The hot food items, such as eggs and sausages could be rotated with scrambled eggs and bacon or hash browns.
