Hotel served its purpose for a quick weekend trip. It is in need of updating, and could have been a little cleaner - nothing horrible. Mattress was a tad too soft - you sunk into the middle. Bathroom sink glaze was cracked and showing rust, shower curtain rod was offset so the curtain wouldn’t stay shut and the entire bathroom got wet. Room smelled somewhat musty. Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Location is great, with restaurants in walking distance, easy on/off the freeway.

Our room was clean. The floor of the bathroom and entry had been cleaned with something that had made it a little slippery. This wouldn't have been a problem had I not been on crutches but being as I was it was a bit of an issue. The staff and breakfast were great as usual. We were a little disappointed that the pool was out of service due to a pump issue.

Was looking for a cheap room in the North Birmingham area and was able to come across this room, which was in the budget, but upon arrival into the parking lot, there was some noticeable cosmetic issues that you’ve seen as soon as you pulled in. Looked to be of green algae water stains from several of the air-conditioning units water drain drainage coming down beside a couple of windows. Inside was pretty clean and as far as anything else I cannot comment, because it was a literal place to lay down and get up early to take care of some business so I cannot comment on anything other than the cosmetic and appearance, pulling into the property. Other than that, the air conditioning worked and I was thankful for that.

Ok stay for the price. Had all the basics and usual breakfast options like cereal, oatmeal packets, waffles and bananas. Reasonably comfortable bed. My main complaint is the tiny roaches that were scurrying around the room. Staff was very friendly though. Fine for one night.

The room was so small, and I put three people. I got there at 2:30 check in time was 3:00, the front desk told me I would have to pay $35.00 to check in now, I told her no I will wait 30 mins. But it’s was overall good experience for one night only!

May 29, 2026 stay. Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, the property is run down and needs a refresh/update. It doesn’t help that there is a shuttered restaurant on the property. Staff didn’t t clean the room each day.
