Let me start by saying that the Villa was amazing, great location with amazing views. We would have given 5 stars but we did encounter a few minor issues. The villa is situated in the middle of the island which provided the ultimate privacy yet only about 30 min drive to the town. The views and layout of the villa were spectacular. Many locations to socialize and other areas where you could get some rest and relaxation when you wanted to find a quiet nook to read and nap.
Some problems that we experienced were mostly related to bad or lack thereof instructions. For example, there was no street address when we received the directions for the house 24 hours before check-in causing us to have to drive around the neighborhood until we saw the Villa name. The access into the neighborhood posed a challenge as you have to enter through an electronic gate at certain hours of the day when the security guard is not on duty. Again the directions were not clear on how to enter the code which took some trial and error - however, once we figured it out all was fine. Once you gain access into the villa 2 auto clickers to open the main gate did not work (most likely needed batteries) however as we learned you could simply punch in a code and gate opened seamlessly. The kitchen floor needed mopping as it was pretty dirty, a toilet was broke when we arrived (which we learned broke 2 days prior to our arrival), however, after a phone call was made to the rental management company, the toilet was fixed within 48 hours. Everyone was very responsive to text or call back when we had a question but it took a little police work to find out if we should call the owner or rental manager.
All in all, we would 100% stay here again as we now know how to access the main access gate, the location of the house, etc. The house is really something special, pink flamingos are in a salt pond down off the hill, the views are so special, sunsets are amazing, layout fantastic. I highly recommend and again would have given 5 stars if we simply had better directions.
