Villa Grandi Bista

A unique villa on the unique location of Cas Abou, with a breathtaking view over the bright blue sea and the beautiful landscape of Curacao. The quiet neighborhood of Cas Abou (next to Cas Abou Beach) is located on the south coast of Curacao on the western part Banda Abou. The private beach of the Cas Abou resort is 200 meters from the house, which is ideal for snorkeling or taking a refreshing dip. Villa Grandi Bista (great view) is located in the top ring of the resort, so you have a beautiful view everywhere and good wind exposure. At the back you look over the old plantation and the country house of Cas Abou, which is now a nature area. At the front and from every bedroom you have a beautiful view of the sea and bays.

The house has a spacious layout with an open kitchen/living room/dining area, around which the bedrooms and bathrooms are located.

The apartment with its own kitchen/living room, bedroom, bathroom and terrace is located under the house; You also have a beautiful sea view from the apartment.

The porch is very spacious with an (8p) dining table, sunbeds and a lounge area. The swimming pool of (8x4 m) 32 m2 is adjacent to the porch; There is also a toilet on the porch so you don't have to go through the house with your wet swimwear.

The water and electra use are excluded.

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Grandi Bista! Communication with the owner and property manager were easy. The house is in a neighborhood and has spectacular views, to the front towards the ocean and the back the countryside! The property is well laid out and the outside area, which is important to us was terrific! We will be back!

The property is a fantastic location with views of the sea and across Curacao. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a group of 7 and the outdoor dining table allows for dinner with a great view.We look on returning to Curacao soon and hopefully will be able to stay here once again.The hill to house is fun but easy with an automatic car. The only improvement recommendation I have is to install bug screens on the small window slates so they can remain open at night without worry of insects/mosquitos.

Wonderful two weeks!

The villa and its location were spectacular, especially the view. There were a few minor issues, but these were addressed by Diana (villa manager) quickly. Outdoor area offered plenty of seating in the shade, and the pool was refreshing after a hot day. The living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and baths were well-equipped and very comfortable. I heartily recommend Grandi Bista to anyone!

A Great Escape

Villa Grandi Bista is a great space for escaping the New England winter and relaxing in the Carribean. It was a clean with very open and comfortable common areas for stretching out. The kitchen was setup nicely and met our cooking needs. The master bedroom/bath was spacious, the other two bedrooms on the upper floor were small in comparison. We loved lounging under the palapa and cooling off in the deep pool. Communication with the property manager and owner was pleasant. A PSA for those interested in possibly walking to Cas Abou beach (not Cas Abou Resort's beach) - we tried to and found the trail was overgrown and culminated in a steep coral rock descent to the beach.

We will be back!

This place is even better than the pictures and listing. It was a great set up for our family.Perfect location to be able to explore the island and then have a beautiful end to your night on the patio. We had additional family that stayed just up the road and we all were able to gather here comfortably at the end of the day for a swim, drink and games together. Highly recommend this house. Best of both worlds with the valley on one side of you and beautiful ocean view on the other..

Loved the rental, clean, well equipped, pool perfect

This rental had everything we needed, was modern with an American style kitchen and fast wifi. Plenty of room to spread out, comfy furniture, all good. Pics of the rental are true. Awesome views, privacy, iguanas and birds fun to watch. It was unusually hot while we were there(both national parks closed due to dangerous heat) and the AC in the 3 bedrooms was not designed to cool the main living areas so be aware that it can be very hot depending. Good fans, though, and the pool was deep, big, clean and cooling. Monique helped us get to the rental; best to arrive during daylight. She was also helpful throughout. This location is close to the 3 snorkeling areas I wanted to do along the NW coast. Perfect. For dining we were close to Daniel, Landhuis Klein Santa Martha and for pizza Tomatoes beach restaurant in Piscadero. Great rental and fun trip!

Paradise with a VIEW!!

This property was clean, cozy, and had plenty of room to hang out and enjoy the view of the ocean from the deck and pool and a view of the valley below from the back of the house!! I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be away from the busyness of town and enjoy a quieter area living amongst the locals.

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay very much, however, you do need a car as there is nothing close or within walking distance. It is the first time I have rented a VRBO where we had to supply our own toilet paper and there were no cleaning supplies that we could find.

Dit was voor ons de zesde keer dat wij een huis op Curaçao hebben gehuurd (Bottelier, Jan Sofat, Coral Estate en Cas Abou) en we kunnen in alle oprechtheid zeggen dat dit het beste huis van allemaal was. De ligging is perfect, bovenop de heuvel met prachtig uitzicht over de zee én het binnenland. Dag en nacht een verkoelend briesje. Het huis is prachtig ontworpen en verkeerd in optimale conditie. Het is bovendien voorzien van alle gemakken. Het zwembad is precies het juiste formaat en de palapa biedt meer dan genoeg ruimte om met vier volwassenen te relaxen op de comfortabele ligbedden. Cas Abou was al onze favoriete plek op het eiland, maar door Villa Grandi Bista is dat gevoel alleen maar sterker geworden.

Perfect Vacation Homebase

Our group of 5 had a wonderful time here at Villa Grandi Bista. The all around views are as good as you can get and the breeze through and around the house keeps it feeling comfortable all day long. Monique the host is great and very helpful from when we first arrived to any questions we had while we were there. We mostly drove to local beaches each morning and would come back in the afternoon to relax and recharge at the pool. We even cancelled dinner plans a couple of times so we could stay around the house in the evenings and enjoy the space. If you need the extra push - STAY AT VILLA GRANDI BISTA!!

Amazing hillside Villa

Wonderful, spacious villa in a beautiful setting with a fantastic view. Cocktail hour at the pool and dinner on the balcony with our family were highlights of our stay. This combined with the great location and easy access to all that Curacao has to offer makes this a superb rental. Our host, Monique, was friendly and helpful. Five stars all around.

Great location and property

My party had a great stay here. The property was beautiful, as advertised. The location is away from the downtown area, which meant trading proximity to restaurants and grocery stores for access to better beaches and fewer tourists. I would definitely stay here again.

Diving

My scuba dive group enjoyed a week long stay at Cas Abou. A few snags getting out communications connected. Also the use of electricity and water is charged from the first spark/drop. (I have never seen that before.) The house is wonderful, in a great location. Monique was always available and forthright with information and assistance.

Heerlijke plek!

Fijn huis met prachtig zeezicht. Van alle gemakken voorzien, goed onderhouden en in prima staat. Er staat altijd wind op het huis en dat geeft een heerlijke verkoeling. De houten louvres zijn recentelijk vervangen door nieuwe stalen louvres, komt het geluid zeker ten goede. Ideale plek om tot rust te komen, heerlijk zwembad en fantastisch uitzicht. Zeer fijn ontvangen door beheerder en ook communicatie met eigenaar was uitstekend. De beheerder runt een duikschool en organiseert kayaktours, waar we allebei gebruik van gemaakt hebben - aanrader! Het eiland is op dit moment (augustus) Corona-vrij, we hopen dat dat zo blijft - de benodigde verplichte PCR test is een goed besluit van de lokale autoriteiten. Auto heb je zeker nodig, Willemstad ligt op 25min wat goed te doen is voor een avondje uit eten. Mooie stranden als Cas Abou en Porto Marie op 10-15 autominuten.

Almost Paradise

We were a group of 5 and stayed at Villa Grandi Bista from Christmas to New Year’s Day - and it was so difficult to leave! This property is amazing - the pictures don’t do it justice. Monique was very attentive to our needs and full of suggestions for our first ever visit to Curacao. The neighborhood is very peaceful with amazing views all around. We could see fireworks on New Years from all over the island! We plan to come back to do some of the things we weren’t able to do on this trip - and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. I can’t recommend this property enough.

Heerlijk huis met prachtig uitzicht.

Mooi ruim huis met uitzicht rondom. Aan de voorkant de zee. Wie op zoek is naar rust en ruimte, vindt dat hier. Zeer ruim terras met veel schaduw en een extra overdekte zit aan het zwembad. De master bedroom is ruim met een fijn bed. Badkamer idem. Op de bovenverdieping nog twee slaapkamers met eigen douche en toilet. Fijne grote keuken. Alles ziet er pico bello uit. Voor ons de ideale locatie. Stranden dichtbij, voor de boodschappen 25 minuten naar Willemstad. Ontvangst was vriendelijk en accuraat. Makkelijk contact via Whatsapp ter plaatse.

Older property no longer alone

The property now has other houses close by on both sides (so is not as isolated as shown in pics) and there is more building going on all over the estate. The views front and back are lovely and the pool is a great space to relax around. Unfortunately the old style shutter windows rattle constantly in the wind which was a real problem when trying to sleep (it was exceptionally windy the 2 weeks we were there). The main bedroom was large and roomy, however the other double and twin bedrooms were just ‘box’ rooms. Also the bedding was old and tired and the pillows smelt of stale sweat! All that said we did enjoy our stay and managed to work around all these problems.

Wonderful property in a terrific location

Our family of 6 spent a week at this property, utilizing the main house upstairs (3 bedrooms) as well as the apartment downstairs. It was plenty of house for 6 people. The outdoor living space is lovely, with seating for at least 8 for dinner, a grill, a sitting and lounging area, and a refreshing pool, all offering a beautiful view of the Caribbean. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, etc. The doors open up to allow the cooling winds to keep the house at a very comfortable temperature. Bedroom doors can be closed to utilize the more than adequate cooling units present in each room. Cas Abou is a quiet part of the island, and we found our rental car a necessity to visit various beaches and parks. Monique, our contact person for the house, was attentive and very pleasant. We had a great vacation and highly recommend this property.
