「Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. As a solo traveler i felt safe. Parking the only issue due to its proximity to Trentham Garden, restaurants & shops. People openly parking in hotel parking spaces & walking over to the shops. 」

「As a solo female traveller, I really like this hotel. It’s basic, but clean and friendly and I feel very safe. As it is a training centre, there are lots of groups of people, but also other solo travellers. I probably wouldn’t use this hotel for a socks trip, but for work it is ideal. Dinner and breakfast are good, it is a buffet style and included in the price. I like this a lot, as generally I will not have dinner alone, but here, it is perfectly acceptable to do so, without standing...

「We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.」

「The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. 」
