It was in beautiful setting next to Trent Mersey canal. The food good especially the breakfast. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were quite a hike from our room. OK if you are fit.

Overall the hotel was really nice, and they have fantastic views, either over the large pond or over the canal over breakfast. It was in need of a little TLC especially in our bedroom. We did find the buffet a bit disappointing as it was cold and appeared to have been there since first thing (we were there an hour after service started). We also found one or two flies in the bedroom and the restaurant. However the staff were very friendly and helpful, and despite our minor issues, we would return.

Lovely stay for 1 night. Very hot so was hoping for aircon but not available. Staff provided 2 x fans which was well needed! Clean comfy room and bed. Fab surroundings and lovely food. Ordered the chateau briand which was delicious. Highly recommend.
