“A business trip and had a commercial meeting at ESSAX suite, everything was well! Service was nice, restaurant offers typical British breakfast. Only a problem, the air conditioner will be re-set to the low temperature randomly. ”

“Booked in advance so good value. Plenty of free parking; registration plate is required with check-in. The man on reception was efficient and friendly. Hallway to room was clean and smelt fresh. Room had desk, two chairs, storage/hanging space, TV, was clean, neat and tidy with comfortable beds. A kettle with coffee tea facilities were provided. Shower was all good but the loose toilet roll holder was annoying. It’s in services so some food/drink facilities available. Less than 10 minute drive……

“Close to Stansted airport. Bear in mind £4 per trip to and from airport. Breakfast included. So very good for value. In general it’s a but dated. McDonald’s and M&S food hall just a min walk away. For a brief stay to catch an early flight. Very good choice. ”

“This is an incredibly welcoming setting...the flats are beautifully appointed and we enjoyed the fabulous bedding, espresso coffee maker, fireplace, etc--just so many very thoughtful details, and immaculately clean throughout. Absolute highlights for us include the very social pair of pigs on the farm, two friendly pups, and multiple nearby farm and field walks,,.but the helpfulness of the hosts, as we gathered our large family for a holiday celebration, was just above and beyond...from……

“Our nephew's wedding was at Blake Hall, Ongar on the 13th May. This property is well placed for our reason for visiting the area but five adults and one child enjoyed this well appointed and spacious house. Our grandson enjoyed a nearby petting farm and an excellent park and play area. Bishops Stortford has a myriad restaurants with any number of cuisines. Thoroughly recommend.”
