“The pool and sauna were closed and had been for a while. I attempted to get a refund but was told because the website informed that the pool was closed I could not. They said they might (couldn’t promise anything) comp me for the extra days but I would have to pay for that night. I checked the website again and them informing people of the closure is a small text at the bottom of their front page, hardly a real notification. The room was less than well taken care of, the bathroom door had holes……

“Loved the dog park. Was great to have a bar on the premises and a wonderful bartender. Our room was clean and appeared to have new carpet and bed. We had to hold the handle down for a few seconds to flush the toilet. The shower drain was plugged and should be cleaned out. Overall, was a great place to stay and we will come again.”

“The continental breakfast was very good, you could make an omelet or pancakes or both. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again for sure.”

“Upon checking into our room we used the bathroom and there was hair and toilet paper on the floor in the corner. Absolutely disgusting.”

“The entire experience was awesome from the friendly checkin staff to the beautiful aesthetic (the arrowhead lodge shines through) the clean and cozy room with NO hallway noise, the great bartender and the beautiful cafe/bar area. The best continental breakfast spread I have ever seen and the sweet gal tending to it. Will definitely stay here again!!”

“We cancelled upon arrival after learning the entire first floor was being recarpeted, and the only rooms left were a long walk upstairs with loads of luggage and bad knees. Right next door we had a fabulous stat at Cranberry Lodge.”

The hot tub and pool were not functioning and was not stated on their website. Breakfast was being closed 30 minutes before end time as we were coming for it and it was all picked over with not much left. Parts of the hall way smelled of weed. Very disappointing experience and will not go back.”

“Was disappointed that half the waterpark was shutdown, especially having 3 littles and not being able to use that section we intended to hence why we booked there. When we went to the restaurant, I had to ask to have our table wiped down and no one was in the restaurant. Our buzzer never went off for our food, when we got our food it was cold. Talked to the cashier about it and they just smiled and said sorry. I walked up again and as I was walking up they made sure to grab the tip jar and put……

“This BW is probably the nicest I've stayed at. Very modern and priced better than any LaCrosse hotel. Convenient stores nearby, beautiful views of Bluffs.”
