"The room was clean, the view from the balcony, located on the side of the bldg, showed the ocean well and I could easily hear the surf, a delight. The mattress was soft and squishy - not good. There was no access to broadcast TV so I couldn't watch any of my programs, including sports. The staff was informative, helpful and polite."

"Here for a long weekend visiting family. The hotel was in a good location. Nice breakfast with many food choices. Tried the nearby restaurant SOL and enjoyed our meal there. ."

"Coffee supplies weren’t replaced, including used mugs, and one bed wasn’t made. Seems the cleaning staff were likely understaffed to have done such a poor service. The good news is the towels were consistently replaced! Also, the pool was closed when my 12YO son was in there because of high PH levels. I was in the (unclean) pool washroom when the staff person told him to quickly rinse off in the room because it would cause hair loss. My son is now afraid to go into pools. I’m glad they closed the pool for service but could have been more careful with information sharing."

"The breakfast was amazingly good considering the property needs an update desperately! The room was very large but dark and smelled of dirty vacuum! Price was way too high for the condition of this property!"

"The resort was lovely for the most part. The grounds and the common spaces were beautiful and well-kept. They were all peaceful and family-friendly. There are multiple pools (only one is heated) and the beach/ocean is only a short walk away. Our room was nice and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, housekeeping lacked a little to be desired (we watched the same piles of sand and debris on the bathroom floor stay put there our entire stay). One day we even had to call close to 5:00 to see if housekeeping was planning on coming. The resort boasts several restaurants but not all were family friendly. We ate off-resort for the majority of our stay since we were tired of pizza. A couple last things we will mention for those looking to stay… beware of the resort fees that are charged every day and then are also taxed. Ours were right under $100/day. They also tell you that you need to valet your car with them ($35/day I believe). You are able to self-park if you so desire. We decided that next time we visit the area, we will VRBO as the resort didn’t offer all that much for the prices that they asked. "

"Wonderful home in a very convenient location to the greater Charleston area. Cindy was very communicative and friendly . House has plenty of room and so well stocked ! Our dog loved the private back fenced in area and so did we ! Everything was super clean and we highly recommend!"
