Yes it’s dated and needs a spruce up but for the price we paid we couldn’t complain. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was superb with both a choice of cooked and continental. Kids loved the swimming pool which was a small extra charge. Plenty of parking room to front of hotel and tram stop to centre was straight outside. We had a sea-view room which was a nice surprise. The staff were very friendly, helpful and extremely hard working. Special credit and thanks to the lady in the breakfast room who never stopped and provided us with a lovely cooked breakfast to set us up for our busy days. We hope to come back to see the illuminations sometime later in the year.

The room wasn't serviced when we opened the door so I went to get the manager. We stayed for 5 nights and asked twice for a refreshed of tea / coffee and towels. The beds weren't even made at all during our stay. Sadly we won't be recommending it.

Boek hier niet! Oplichters. Alle foto’s zijn fake. Zeer verwaarloosd, geen verwarming. Oud en vies. Warm water voor douche pas na 5 minuten een beetje warm. Bed was wel goed maar stond op wieltjes en rolde alle kanten op in mijn slaap. Medewerker waren vriendelijk maar ik vroeg me af wat ze bezielde om hier te willen werken. Lift hapert, zwembad stinkt naar schimmel. Eerst kamers geweigerd, kreeg wel andere maar dit was eens en nooit meer.

We didn't have breakfast. The pool was nice and has a little mini jacuzzi area in the pool and a dry sauna. You can use it even after you check out or before check in time . One lady particularly was lovely on reception and very kind with us . Had a great sea view. Beds were comfy.

10 min walk to the north pier. Staff were nice. The hotel n rooms are clean, however, it's needs a lot off attention n tlc. The main things to sort out are the very squeaky floorboards, you can hear everyone moving in their rooms and corridors.The corridors and bar carpets could do with a good clean as they smell musky. Breakfast a buffet but there was plenty and it was nice.

Room was very clean, bathroom was dated but nice for our stay. Breakfast was good buffet with nice coffee. Fast and efficient. All staff members were very nice and helpful.

Hotel is in a poor state. Upper floors are in poor condition and creek underfoot. Keeps you awake at night. Room only had blinds no curtains.TV remote didn't work.room smelt musty. No entertainment. Breakfast was ok. The most positive thing was the staff can't do a noth for you and worked very hard. For me I wouldn't stay again.

This hotel needs a complete overhaul I was disappointed they had used different pictures of the rooms on the website they certainly did not match what we got and it wasn't cheap, cleanliness was also an issue. The staff were friendly enough but for the price it was not good.
