Wonderful home

The house smelled like it was brand new when we arrived. We especially liked the backyard with its hot tub and gas fire pit. The bed was very comfortable, and we really liked the the choices of restaurants Blanco had to offer

The property was as advertised. The property was clean, well-maintained and in a location just off the main square in town. We could easily walk to restaurants and the square. The house adequately stocked with necessities and provided a good base for our time in the Hill Country.

Nice Place

We loved this house. It's convenient to the places we wanted to go, and it's also off the beaten path, so pretty quiet and not a lot of traffic, which is great when you have small kids. The flat-top grill is NICE, too!

Amazing place at such a fantastic value! My parents and spouse and I stayed here during our excursions around the hill country. It was the perfect central location from which to take day trips to Austin, Fredericksburg, and San Antonio (each only about an hour drive away from the VRBO). The town itself is also very small and cute with everything you need, from a grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants, and a small state park with an area for swimming in nice weather (we took out our kayaks and paddled around). The VRBO itself was impeccably clean and lovely, freshly remodeled. And the beds were all very comfortable memory foam mattresses. The back yard area was also nice for sitting and sipping coffee in the morning. There was a grill and hot tub that we did not use. We would return here in a heartbeat for a family getaway! It was the perfect stay.

Blanco House

We were on a state park trip, visiting as many state parks as we could in 3 days. We stayed at this house and it was perfect! Very clean and probably less than a mile to to park! We weren’t there long but it was a good night sleep and showers. But would be perfect for a family trip. Huge living room and kitchen. There’s was a hotvtub but we didn’t have time to explore.

Birthday Hill Country hiking getaway

Convenient to both Pedernales and Guadalupe State Parks for hiking and Dripping Springs and Wimberley for shopping. The house was more than enough for the two of us. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, affordable, with a relaxed updated style, and easy and quick communication with property managers, made this trip relaxing and enjoyable. I also appreciated the house numbers on the garage and side entry had a light above them as if I recall correctly the street was dark. The town square and restaurants and shops are cute and we enjoyed a bite to eat at Texas Cannon Brewery, Buchanans Coffee, OroBianco Italian Creamery in Blanco as well as Tillie’s at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs and the Texas Hill Country Olive Oil Company. Our only regret was not scheduling downtime to sit and roast s’mores around the fire pit on the back patio at least once!

Two day stay in Blanco

Positives: The property is very clean, modern and well laid out. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub worked well. Negatives: The coffeemaker did not work well at all. It would have been better to have a full-size drip coffeemaker as we love our coffee, but it was an ordeal to make even one cup. You have to bring your own coffee supplies and spices. The four vanity lights in both bathrooms were all out except one. Also, in one bathroom the fan kept turning on like every five minutes even during the night.

Perfect large-group short term stay!!!

This property is accurately portrayed in the description; the house and yard were very clean and well-kept, all of the appliances and furniture were new, and there were no issues both nights we were there. This is definitely a short term rental with a few basic spices and such, so if you need to cook anything make sure to bring all of the ingredients, and the closest grocery store closes at 9pm. Our group of 10 adults fit comfortably, and we probably could have fit a few more. There is one very nice provided queen-sized air mattress, but if you needed to fit a few more people a couple twin sized air mattresses should fit well enough. There is not a picture of the Jacuzzi that is in the description on the website, but there is actually one in the backyard that comfortably fits 5-6 people. The hosts are very good at communicating and are very reasonable. Overall we were very impressed with this property and would come back!

Cute, clean property walking distance to town square!

We rented this house for the weekend while visiting some friends that live close by. The house is so cute and within walking distance to Blanco town square. The property was very clean! The washer was not working when we arrived but the manager responded promptly offering to send someone out. The customer service was fantastic, the property manager Jennifer checked in throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable. I would suggest the property add towel hooks to the bathrooms, there was not anywhere to hang towels after using the hot tub or shower. Also, there are vent fans in both bathrooms that automatically turn on throughout the day/night. TIP: If you're staying in the back bedroom connected to the bathroom, shut the bathroom door while sleeping so you won't hear the fan all night. The neighborhood is very quiet and we felt safe. We would absolutely stay here again when in the area.
