“This house looks just like its pictures. It’s the second year we stayed here for our annual reunion with our college friends. We have our reunion at a different house in the neighborhood so we mostly just sleep at the house. Our only complaint is that both of the king mattresses are rather lumpy. Overall this house is great for families :)”

“Gorgeous views and great kayaking. The owner called back promptly when we had a questions. There were two kayaks on the property for our use. As a note the 3rd bedroom/game room is accessed by going out on deck and up a flight of stairs. It was great for our teens, but I would have not liked that for younger kids. Also it is a long steep hike back up from the lake after an afternoon of kayaking. If you have mobility issues take a good look at the stairs in the back yard. My only complaint is……

“The place is nice and bright and very clean! It has a beautiful view of the Guadalupe River from the covered deck, which was our go-to place most of our time there. It would have been a bonus if it were screened in but overall the bugs weren't too much of an issue. There was plenty of wildlife on the river which we love. We saw large fish, a turtle, ducks, heron, and snakebirds. The water was lower than I expected, so due to my mobility issues, I wasn't able to step into the river from the……

“Was exactly as promoted. I had cell service with Verizon, but my brother had trouble with T-moble which didn't affect the stay. Everything was clean, always advise to bring your own pillow, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Everything was wiped down, examined sheets and they were clean. Had washer and dryer if needed, basic toiletries but sufficient. Bring flashlights if you want to go out at night, and if you want a fire bring firewood, we brought both. Loved watching deer and cattle……

“Place was just what we needed and had everything we needed. Great backyard to throw a frisbee and catch a football (besides the pool of course). Host provided tons of info prior to our arrival and was great! Recommend.”
