They gave us check in instructions late! Now no one is available to talk to you prices are high! They owners are so greedy not even two bottles of water for coffee, The reins we stayed at were dirty apon arrival and they had hair on the floor and bed shirt were not clean properly! We love staying here so much. It’s run like an Airbnb so you don’t really see the staff but they are very responsive to text and calls. It’s such a serene atmosphere and we love staying in historic boutique hotels. The river is so relaxing and beautiful! The Meyer is one of our special places!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Meyer Hotel. The hotel grounds are very pretty, with a beautiful pool as well. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and linens. The Meyer is just a half block from the shops and restaurants - very walkable. We parked our car on the first night and didn't move it again until we were leaving. I look forward to staying again soon!

We booked this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately we got a queen room that was a very outdated and poorly maintained (Unit 202), to the point that it did not meet what we consider basic hotel standards. We shared our concerns with staff during our stay. While they were polite and acknowledged our feedback, no compensation was offered. The only option provided was to pay extra to upgrade rooms, which was disappointing given that the room we originally received was not acceptable. We were told that the king rooms were in better condition. This stay did not deliver the hotel experience we were hoping for, especially for a special occasion like an anniversary. Although we did not see the other rooms, I would strongly recommend that future guests avoid booking the queen room if they are similar to the one we were given.

Staff was extremely friendly and supportive. They offer a heater and extra blankets without even asking. The space is beautiful and charming. The perfect place to rest and enjoy family. Place is 28 min from Fredericksburg and 45 min from Dan Antonio.
