Unit was clean with easy access on ground floor and while not super spacious it was adequate and comfortable. Decor was nice and there were a few extra amenities like cozy blankets, puzzles/games, books. We do not ski but in my opinion it would be a 30 min or so drive to where you would. Master bath is small but adequate and clean. Second bath more roomy. Heat was hard to regulate and gas fireplace did not work even with instructions (which were confusing) given for lighting pilot which we could not get lit. While not the owners fault, cell phone service in the area was sketchy and very slow and Vrbo in particular would not load well making it difficult to read all of owners lengthy instructions on everything. Kitchen is small but has what you need. I would not want to do much cooking in it due to size but it was stocked with essentials to do so. Host answered promptly when we did not see the code for check-in but then again VRBO was not loading or working well so maybe it was sent but we did not get it! Complex was quiet and is close to town but not walkable to town in my opinion. It is a long uphill hike and in season might be an issue with parking in town but we were there midweek so no problems for us to drive and park. Area has gorgeous scenery and much to do especially for outdoor enthusiasts.

Perfect condo location

Location, location, location. The condo was perfect for our family of 3 1 pooch. It was so easy to zip around town and not worry about parking. Condo has everything you’d need for a comfortable, relaxing stay in Blowing Rock.

Ski Getaway to Blowing Rock

Justin’s place was very clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed. Just a short drive from App Mtn Ski resort and the grocery store made it the perfect place for out weekend getaway!

New favorite stay in Blowing Rock

Every year, my husband and I, along with one other couple go to the App Ski anniversary weekend. It’s been a yearly trip that past 5+ years. The location of this condo is ideal to walking around downtown Blowing rock, plus it’s tucked away so you have privacy as well. We have stayed at these condos before, but this was our first time stay at this specific one and we absolutely loved it. Justin and Ana have a beautiful place. It’s very clean and well stocked. We loved that it was on the first floor and that’s what originally drew us in. It makes it easier to bring in your luggage without having to lug it up to the 2nd or 3rd floor which we have done in the past. Highly recommend this place and we definitely plan on staying at this spot for future blowing rock trips! Thank you!

Cozy, Convenient, Cottage-like Condo!

We had great stay at this VRBO property! The location was perfect – everything we needed was within walking distance, including fantastic restaurants and the charming town center. And the drive to Boone for the App State football game was a quick 10 minutes. The ample parking made it incredibly convenient, even during busy times. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the cozy fireplace, which added a wonderful touch of warmth and comfort to the cool evenings. Communication with the owners was seamless and they were always responsive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient getaway.

Wedding getaway

We had a wonderful & relaxing g getaway to celebrate our cousins wedding! The condo was perfect! We were able to walk everywhere & then relax at home in comfort. We didn't eat in, bc we were busy, but the kitchen was stocked so well I wish we did! The beds were comfy, coffee supplied, & the condo felt very much like “home” to unwind in. The owner a quick responder, excellent to communicate with,& made the transaction so smooth! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for the relaxing much needed getaway!!Oh & if you visit the condo don’t miss the Hellbender cafe for the best drinks around if you get a chance to stop, the local brewery had great appetizers, & the coffee at Camp coffee is a must try!!!The best part is they’re all close & walkable through beautiful areas!

Comfortable, cozy getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay. This unit is sparkling clean, well appointed and equipped. We found it generously stocked with coffee, supplies and necessities. The televisions, gas fireplace and internet are first class. It is nicely located on first floor, peacefully set in a quiet setting away from the bustle of Main St, but close enough to walk there. The owner is very accessible, helpful and pleasant. We would return without hesitation.
