「The hotel is renovated, large and very clean and neat. The staffs are friendly and energetic. There is an elevator in the hotel, and it is very helpful for me. It offers many kinds of food for breakfast and it is delicious. The location is near to most of sites and Christmas markets, only 10-15 minutes walk from the DB train station. I would like to make a suggestion that is to change the kettle, because it usually smells strange when the water is boiled, maybe it can't endure the heat anymore....

「Zimmer ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Es war praktisch, dass ich mein Fahrrad in der Tiefgarage abstellen konnte. Lediglich an der Sauberkeit des Zimmers könnte man noch arbeiten. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt es sauber, bei genauerer Betrachtung findet man hier und da Haare, etc. Kontakt mit Gastgebern immer super schnell, was sehr hilfreich war. Leider waren die Nachbarn (glaube Gastarbeiter) ziemlich laut. Da wir nachts das Fenster aufgrund der Hitze öffnen mussten war das nicht so...

「I experienced unfriendly staff and unwelcoming staff at the Hotel zum Roten Bären. Harsh, curt and rude. Somewhat shocking for a hotel that prides itself on being the oldest hotel in the Region! The room itself was spacious and light by European standards but had no coffee machine, or mini fridge. Coffee would be available downstairs on weekends at 8 a.m. and 7 a.m. during the week. During our stay it was 100 degrees in Freiburg and of course the room didn't have air conditioning. But opening...

"The room is spacious. However, the internal design was still the old fashioned type. Only one complimentary bottle of water per stay which is a bit disappointing. The fitness centre is small and connected with swimming pool and is quite hot. Not sure if there is air-conditioning or not and so you cannot exercise much. However, the staff are nice and friendly which i appreciate."
