“You NEED A vehicle to get around in. The Entire road leading to the condo is Koleche with pot holes for about 16 min straight. The day we checked in, the restaurant that is onsite was closed and the nearest and Expensive restaurant (Conch Shack) was about 23 min away. The rooms are clean and there is a beautiful view of the ocean in building 2 (not as beautiful as Grace Bay). The hostess was very slow on responses and only answers questions about the property. She did also give 1 restaurant……

“The unit was clean and well equipped. It does need to have blackout curtains. The sun rises early and you will be woke up early, early first thing in the morning. When staying here you will need to have a rental car- but driving almost anywhere on the island only takes 30 minutes.”

The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom was my favorite part. It was large, beautifully designed, and aesthetically pleasing. Everything about the stay was lovely, and I truly loved every moment. I can’t wait to book again!”

“Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed there was no proper secondary lock or security mechanism on the door beyond the standard knob lock, which made me uncomfortable traveling alone. In addition, there were visible blood stains on the bedding upon arrival. Guests should also be aware that the property is entirely walk-up, so it may not be ideal for anyone with mobility concerns or difficulty with stairs. “The staff was so genuinely friendly and attentive. When we arrived at the hotel we could see it was well kept. We loved our room! We stayed at the Beachside building and the room excellent! I loved the galley kitchen with everything you need. We even did laundry before we left. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and they had a sweet card and bottle of wine for us. I’m an interior designer and I loved the room! There were plenty of towels and the view was of course stunning! We snorkelled right……

“We picked the perfect time to come. Spring break is over and the summer season hasn’t started yet. Place was dead! Maybe 10 other couples. Weird that the restaurant/bar doesn’t charge to the room. That prevented us from eating and drinking there. Without keeping a tab open it was a pain so we went elsewhere. Breakfast was good, room provided what it was supposed to. Everything on island is ridiculously priced. So you never feel like you’re getting value. This was the cheapest place we……

“The Sands was a fine hotel but they fell short in several areas. Staff was generally unfriendly- specifically restaurant, store and front desk. There was an ant problem outside the room each night and we did find a few ants in our room. Room layout is awesome! Location also helpful. We like a resort feel and felt The Sands did a poor job of making guests feel pampered. Was very difficult to get beach service and when we did it arrived in a paper takeout bag. Also, there are very few game……
