The back porch was so relaxing after a long travel day. We so enjoyed our conversation with the owner Scott on our check out day. We wished we could have stayed longer. 「Lovely place to stay near Blacksburg a short 20 minute drive. We brought our dogs and ourselves down to move my brother-in-law and it was perfect. The space is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable.」

「 Very nice, all positive, with one critique…getting down the steps to the porch was treacherous for 2 older ladies coming in after dark and hauling coolers and suitcases. Don’t know if there are rules out there about lighting, but a little more illumination would be helpful. Steps are a bit awkward, not a natural feel, know what I mean? Thanks so much. I would for sure rent again.」

「GPS led us on a narrow twisty road with no centerline or side markers. Kind of scary. After we arrived we found a much shorter, safer way to get to and from the property. Hostess was GREAT! She went out of her way to help us! I forgot chairs to go to the race at Bristol, she found some from her friend to loan to us. THANKS! Cottage itself was very nice, had everything we needed. 」

「Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. 」
