“Excellent”

“We stayed at this La Quinta about three years ago, and it was clean, comfortable, and a great stop for the night. I couldn't believe how much it had gone downhill. Let me start by saying the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were the one bright spot during our stay, and they're the only reason I'm giving this hotel any stars. The hotel itself was shockingly dirty. There were smears on just about every surface—from the lobby windows and doors to the walls in our room. The……

“Overall, this was a wonderful area and very quiet for our 4th of July getaway. Our room was very lovely (the bed was super comfy) and the staff very friendly. Our shower was a bit of a mess at the build kept causing water to pool out due to it's lack of ability to drain correctly. Our balcony view was enjoyable and allowed us to keep watching the fireworks that were happening all the way down on St. Simons and Jekyll Island. Good sized gym and pool area and there were a handful of local eateries……

“The room and bathroom were not clean and dust was everywhere. My wife has allergies and couldn’t breathe. She went to the desk and they showed her another room which was very musky and was worse than the first room. We got our money back and left. Very few rooms were taken when we arrived and maybe that is why. Housekeeping needs to do a better job and maintenance needs to check for mold.”
