No beach access directly from this property. Rocky shoreline with ocean views but the beaches were a long hike away.

Had an inital issue with the reservation via expedia, but the staff at the front desk helped us out in the end and we had a great stay. Love the location. The 3 bed we stayed was very nice and had everything we needed.

Overall, it was a good experience. There were a few things in the room that needed some maintenance, and had that maintenance been done, it would have improved the experience. I thought it was a little tacky that they charge a resort fee per day, but it doesn't give you access to anything unique that other hotels already offer without charging a resort fee. And I was a little offended that I was expected to remove my trash out of my room when I checked out.

We love Villas by the Sea for the beautiful pool, shaded grounds, and close proximity to the Driftwood Beach. We enoy having a full kitchen to prepare meals and an on site laundry for our family trips. The staff are great and the place is very clean. The rest of Jekyll Island is amazing and interesting and but we often spend the entire time at the villa.

I had paid for ocean view expecting to see the ocean. However I saw maybe a foot of it between the overgrown shrubs. No big deal if I didn’t request ocean view as well as call to confirm ocean view. I did like that housekeeping did not bother you daily I also would have like to have known that Jekyll island had a pay to park toll every day. Wish that would have been added into the stay not an extra $49
