Expect a slight slope in the floor, and don't forget to close the windows before you go to bed as the monkeys are sneaky and will steal any fruit that you leave on the dining table. A fun night. 「A really lovely accommodation with the most incredible views. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony so you wake up to a view of the mountails The host Priyanatha is so warm, welcoming and always available to help. Breakfast was lovely (especially the hoppers). A short walk (or tuk tuk) into town. Loved my stay here! Thank you!」

「My fiance and I stayed at the Hotel for my birthday. The Hotel provided a free upgrade to us and prepared a birthday cake for me at breakfast! A total surprise! Impressive! There are a range of tours which you may join at the Hotel - and we picked the tea plucking class which we enjoyed very much. The surrounding environment is unbeatable - with leveled tea fields surrounding the Hotel. Would very much like to come back for another stay!」

「Très bel hôtel sur les hauteurs de la ville, personnel serviable. Magnifique vue sur les montagnes. Chambre avec belle terrasse Un peu éloigné de la ville, il faut prendre un tuktuk, cependant l'hôtel nous a proposé leur service. Et la ville est très animée et très sympa. 」

「Dejligt sted hos Ayubo og værterne var excellent. Dejlig middag og morgenmad. Ligger lidt afsides dog ikke et problem. God udsigt og dejlige værelser med balkon. 」

「Et hotel med fantastisk udsigt udover Ella. Det var nogle fine og eneværelser. Poolområdet var lidt slidt og kunne trænge til lidt opfriskning, men igen udsigten var meget flot der fra. Personalet var meget venlig. Morgenmaden var ok, men ikke noget særligt. 」

「An amazing experience, sleeping in the canopy of the forest. We saw lots of animals and fireflies at night. Accommodation is basic as you would expect but beds and bathroom were clean. Ella is a 5-10 minute walk away via the railway tracks. Route was easy to find as directed by our host. Breakfast was delicious and filling.」

「This year, I have slept on multiple beds in multiple countries. Colombia, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Jordan, Sri Lanka, and Ella Green Cottages had the best mattress I've had all year. My first night at Ella Green Cottages was literally the best night of sleep that I had in months. Also, whenever I needed anything, the employees immediately stopped doing whatever they were doing and saw to my needs. Best customer service I experienced in the country. 」

「This place is magical! Truly a stay in the jungle. There’s no road to the cabin so the last part you have to walk on the railway. However the staff were really helpful and carried our suitcases the whole way - so do recommend to pack lightly. The place was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend! 」
