“Utterly fabulous. We were hesitant about booking due to the high price point; but it was worth every penny. The staff are wonderful, so caring and hospitable - nothing is too much trouble. The views take your breath away, the food was the best we had in Sri Lanka. We really did not want to leave ”

“Perfect spot about 350 metres from the main street of Ella. The walk home up a hill was always fun at the end of the day, but worth it as the street plops you out near Cafe Chill (plus most of the city is hilly).
Basic amenities with a great shower and insane views over the city and of Ella Rock 😍”

“We had a wonderful stay! The view of the Nine Arch Bridge and jungle was so beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was really good, too! The complimentary tuk-tuk service to and from the main road to the accommodation was especially appreciated given the steep and narrow road. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would happily recommend!”

“We stayed 4 nights at Walaa Kulu, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The villa is truly luxurious, beautifully furnished, and designed to take full advantage of the stunning panoramic views that surround it. Every room offers a breathtaking outlook — the kind that photos simply cannot capture. The heated pool overlooking the lush green hills was an absolute highlight, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing evening swim even when the air cooled down.
What really made our stay unforgettable was……

“I booked and paid for my room in advance. I booked a Deluxe Double with Balcony and breakfast. When I arrived, they didn't know about my booking. My room was obviously already taken but they were not honest about that. I was put into another room with no balcony and told that 'the price does not include breakfast'. After a couple of email exchanges with me providing proof of my 'confirmed' booking, he agreed to include breakfast (but he did not change my room). My 'balcony' was the shared area……
