Everything you need and close to what you want to see!

This is located in a true Italian neighborhood with neighborhood restaurants. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the center and Piazza Maggiore. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and has a washing machine. The bathroom is updated and beautiful. The host is very responsive and helpful. You might need earplugs for sleeping, but it's an awesome place!!

Prettig verblijf.

het appartement ligt aan de rand van het historisch centrum in een rustige straat met weinig verkeer. Het is een levendige buurt met winkels en restaurantjes. Nicola is een hartelijke, attente gastheer.

Perfect for our needs

A very pleasant apartment, newly redecorated, and in a great location. It's very close to some great bars and restaurants, but still quiet and a 15 minute walk from the Piazza Maggiore. There are also frequent buses from the bottom of the road to the centre and to the railway station, which was great for getting to other nearby towns like Ravenna, Modena, Parma, Ferrara. Nic was a great host, giving great tips and popping by frequently to check everything was Ok.

comodo e tranquillo appartamento nel cuore di Bologna.

Abbiamo soggiornato per quattro giorni in questo piccolo ma elegante piano terra ubicato in una palazzina del centro di Bologna. Posizione perfetta, vicina a tutti i luoghi di interesse. Pulizia e assistenza impeccabili. Consigliatissimo!

"lovely apartment" a pochi passi dal centro. Appartamento pulito e accogliente, vicinissimo a ristoranti, osterie e pub, nonché a supermercati e negozi vari. Nicola, l'host, persona squisita, è affabile e sempre disponibile. Decisamente 5 stelle superior :)

Bologna wonderful, this apartment not so!

We stayed for five nights in June, our fourth rental in Bologna during the past seven years. Unfortunately, it was the least desirable apartment we’ve had in Bologna. We travel by car for five to seven weeks, once or twice each year, and predominantly stay in small towns, But we like cities, too. Overall, we’ve rented dozens of apartments during the past ten years in France, Spain, and Italy, and in our experience, this would rank at the bottom of the list. On the plus side, this ground floor apartment was roomy enough but had little cross ventilation because of heavy plastic sheets covering almost the entire window on the street side. The shower was a disaster - it was small, shower doors did not close properly, and it had no hand-held shower head. The apartment smelled of stale cigarette smoke, the tiny living room was dark with no windows, and the kitchen had a window facing what looked like a two meter square shaft between the buildings. Apparently the building was under repair, and as a result there was loud construction noise every day - banging, drilling, and sawing. At the time of booking, Nicola was advised that we would be arriving by car and that we would like to book the secure parking he had offered for 20 euro per day. Twelve days before arrival, we again told him we wanted to book the garage. A few days before arrival, we arranged meet him at the apartment to unload our baggage. Not in the description of the apartment or in our communication did he mention that this apartment is located in a ZTL and we would need a temporary permit to drive to the apartment. (There are hefty fines for driving in a ZTL without a permit.) Even upon arrival, he failed to offer a temporary permit. In response to our request for a permit, he offered the advice not to bring a car into Bologna, but he told us that the garage attendant would issue one! (Cost for the garage was 25 euro per day, not 20 euro as Nicola claimed.) On the morning of our departure, he asked for, and we gave him, 10 more euros to get a temporary permit to drive in a ZTL to insure we would not get fined. In ten years of staying in vacation rentals, many located in a ZTL, this is the first time the owner/manager failed to register our vehicle for use in a ZTL. This was also the first time, oddly, an owner/manager failed to collect the City Tourist Tax (4 euro per day per person in Bologna for this apartment) and had to be reminded to take our passport information.

We were very glad to have chosen this place, it had everything to were hoping for. Very nice location to establish our base in Bologna, and Nik was a great host. We hope it will be available when we go back to Bologna!

Perfect location!

This is a great home! It's in a perfect, quiet location yet just half a block away from great restaurants and shopping. It's an enjoyable 10 minute walk to the city center. And our host, Mario, was just amazing! So kind and helpful! I would definitely stay here again.

The perfect base in Bologna

Nice, practical, clean and central. Furthermore, Nicola is a great host - and very helpful. It's a gentle walk to the centre of this fabulous city. And there's a restaurant about 100 metres away which is (and is recognised as) quite exceptional. Highly recommended..

Really lovely apartment in Bolonga !

We enjoyed our stay very much in this apartment. It was comfortable with everything you could need. Nice comfortable bed too ! A great area for walking round town with lots of fabulous bars and restaurants in the immediate area. Thank you Nicloe for a great stay.

Soggiorno stupendo

Siamo state in due per un weekend molto tranquillo. L'appartamento si presenta benissimo, molto funzionale, gli spazi ben distribuiti, spazioso e pulito. C'è tutto il necessario per una vacanza in questa stupenda e accogliente città. Anche se è al pian terreno non arriva rumore dall'esterno. La zona è molto ben servita sia di negozi che di localini molto carini. Nicola è una persona molto accogliente e pronta per ogni problema si prospetti,gentile e preciso. Siamo state benissimo, grazie di tutto!

Excellent place to stay in Bologna.

This is my second time staying at Nikola,s Bologna apartment. The property is spacious and very clean and is only a 10 minute walk from Piazza Maggiore. There are plenty of excellent restaurants, coffee shops and super markets around the apartment. If you want to experience the joys of Bologna, I would recommend staying at this apartment. A wonderful stay in Bologna

We had a week holiday and spent it in this beautiful ancient city full of history. The location of this apartment was great, it lies between two cosy streets full of restaurants and eateries. It is just a 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. The host Nicola is very kind and helpful. The countless basilica, palazzo's, eateries made us clear that we will definitely visit this town again in the future. We hope to rent this apartment again by then.

PERFECT APARTMENT FOR OUR STAY IN BOLOGNA

The apartment was exactly what we needed. It was clean and well laid out with two bedrooms It was in an area where there were a great assortment of shops and bars and it was not very far to walk to the city centre. The greatest plus for us was the lovely owner Nicola who gave us advice on several occasions and rang up local restaurants to get us booked in for each night that we were there. We would certainly return.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in great location

We had a wonderful, very comfortable stay at Nicola's newly remodeled apartment. It was the best apartment that we rented during our two week vacation in Italy. In addition, Nic was a gracious host, explaining the neighborhood and even securing a taxi for us the last day of our stay. We would definately stay here again.
