Wonderful family run hotel with amazing meals. Very friendly and extremely helpful with everything from rides from the gondola to planning hikes. Beautiful views from the restaurant! A great time.
This place is so special! The family that owns and runs this hotel is what makes your stay amazing. The hospitality was beyond our expectations and we ate some of the best meals we have had in Italy here. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous. The peace and nature you get here is unmatched. Expedia made the check in a bit stressful as they said there was no front desk at this hotel (which is true) and you had to be there by 6:00pm to receive your keys. Or you had to contact the property beforehand to make other arrangements. Our rental car took way longer to get upon arrival, making us feel very rushed to get to the property in time. The family that owns the hotel lives there full time and are interacting with the guests, serving meals and drinks up until about 10pm each night. You do need a rental car to get to this hotel. Our only complaint is the road up to it. It’s a one lane steep climb with blind spots and turns. Go slowly and be cautious around the corners. Oncoming vehicles will find ways for you to get around them as there are some pull out areas. Other than that, this place is a gem! A great location for our Dolomite excursions. 10/10 for us and we will definitely be back!
Excellent hotel - the owners couldn’t be more helpful, delicious food (vegetarian’s really well catered for) that was brilliant value and a fantastic view towards Bolzano and the mountains. Great walks from the hotel and a lovely swimming pool to cool off in.
Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting somewhere to stay in this area.
My husband and I stayed here in mid June and it was wonderful. The location is beautiful and provided a wonderful pool to enjoy on a warm summer day. The owners were incredibly welcoming and provided for our every need and request. The optional dinner was delicious and of exceptional quality, a perfect ending to a day of hiking, biking, and exploring. Looking forward to returning.
Klar anbefaling.
A wonderful little oasis amid superb alpine scenery. Accomodation is spacious, clean and cosy. In the evening a 3 course meal was served for a very readonable price and was excellent, local produce and wine. Breakfast buffet was also very good. It really couldn’t have been better and we highly recommend it.
With my wife, we stayed one night here on a recent Italy trip. The stay was really outstanding!. The location was amazing, high on the hill, overlooking Bolzano, and the snow-caps of the alps in the distance. Hospitality was exceptional. The owner made us welcome, hosted all meals and made effort to all guests to be comfortable. Room was comfortable, and with a balcony shared the exceptional valley views.
Would recommend to all.
