Family Reunion

We enjoyed skylight lodge. We get together with family and friends each year to do an annual fundraising event. The house was perfect for our group. The big fireplace was a great way to relax after a day of skiing or snowshoeing.

Annual Friends and Family Ski Vacation

We had a great trip even though the weather did not cooperate. The home was just right for a group our size with plenty of extra room to spread out and relax. We loved the charm and feel of an old inn and close proximity to the mountain, town and shopping. Owners were very responsive and receptive to feedback. Would love to stay again.

The perfect ski trip getaway

My group of friends has been taking an annual ski trip in Vermont for over a decade now. We're tried a few different properties and the Skylight Ski Lodge instantly vaulted to the top of our list. The location is incredibly convenient, the layout is perfect, and the vibes are charming. The hosts advertise things exactly as they are and communicate clearly!

Beautiful Home!

The house and surrounding area was beautiful, clean and well-maintained. They provided toiletries and other nice extras. The kitchen was spacious and there were so many places for a large family to gather both inside and outside. The owners were helpful and responsive. If we come to this area again, we will definitely stay at this house. Was a perfect weekend!

My family and I had a great stay at the Skylight Lodge. It is very different from other rentals, being a former inn. There is plenty of space for a big group and the two master suites are great. The fireplace in the main room is like something out of game of thrones, and was the highlight of the trip for the adults. The kids spent most of the time playing games in the second living room on the first floor. The house is also very conveniently located near Manchester. We would definitely come back.

Great place for a group getaway

This is a wonderful property for a Vermont getaway, with large common areas and plenty of beds for a crowd. It's in the perfect location for access to Manchester, Bromley, and hiking on the Appalachian Trail and Long Trail.

We love this house and property. So great for large groups. Two real master suites on the third floor make this perfect for two large families, etc. We just spent Thanksgiving 2019 and had a great time even in the "mud season".

My office (KSS Architects) has been staying at the Skylight Ski Lodge for 4 years now, and it is the perfect place for our annual Vermont Ski Trip! It sleeps more than any other property in the area, has the perfect gathering space for dinner, and the lodge itself is just gorgeous. The owners are wonderful, the kitchen is legit, and those master bedrooms are luxurious. You absolutely cannot go wrong staying here!

A great place for a company ski retreat!

This is at least our 4th year in a row staying at the Skylight Ski Lodge and its always the perfect weekend for our company's ski trip. The place sleeps so many people, has multiple great gathering spaces and is perfect for cooking an enjoying a big group dinner. all of this is in addition to the amazing history, construction, and renovation of the lodge itself. Great stay

This house was a terrific place for our family and friends to stay during our annual ski week in VT. The location to the slopes was great--so close to Bromley and Stratton! Easy access to the main roads. The house was fully stocked and clean. There was plenty of room for multiple families to share. Communication with the owner was always prompt and helpful. We can't wait to return!

Great house for family weekend!

This house is amazing! It’s clean, has great spaces and really well outfitted with everything you could need. We had a birthday dinner for my husband and yard and house were the perfect setting. Family fun at Skylight Lodge

Our family with adult children had a fantastic week at Skylight Lodge. The house had plenty of space for us to spread out and enjoy…places to sit and read, do puzzles, play board games, and watch movies. Plenty of outdoor space for yard games too. My husband and I love visiting Manchester and the location was perfect to introduce our kids to the area. Great communication, easy check in. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay!

The pictures do not do the home justice. The house is huge and comfortably fit my group of 14 adults. The location is perfect for going to Stratton mountain. The house was clean and had great amenities. Liz was an amazing host so helpful and accommodating. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

The house was absolutely perfect for a Vermont fall getaway and easily accommodated multiple families. It was clean, new and communicating with the owners was an absolute pleasure. This was our fourth year staying with a few families at Skylight lodge and it was once again wonderful. The lodge is perfect, clean, well stocked and Liz is very attentive and responsive. We enjoyed this house very much. Great layout on the main floor (kitchen, TV room, fireplace room); all bedrooms are on the second and third floor. The kitchen had all that we could ask for as we prepared dinner at the house two of our nights. We also used the grill, deck, and backyard. The owners were great and check-in was simple. We strongly recommend this home.

Incredible House!

We stayed at Skylight to celebrate my wife's birthday over President's Day Weekend and it could not have been a better place to stay at. Great common area space and ample bedrooms make this a perfect stay. It is also very close to ski at Stratton and Bromley or head into downtown Manchester. Everyone loved it! Liz was very responsive and answered all of my questions throughout. We hope to make this more of an annual trip in the future!

Great family house - as advertised!

Beautiful home with two fantastic fireplaces, great kitchen, plenty of beds and two amazing master suites. Back yard pond was perfect for a fun skate and enjoyed hiking through the woods. Only regret...stay was too short. We will definitely be back. Stay healthy.
