Lovely home with amazing views

The house is even better than the pictures. The views are wonderful, and the house is stocked with everything you need for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. We loved how close it is to Blowing Rock, Boone, and Banner Elk.

Walk to the ski hill!

Great location for a family ski trip. 100 yard walk to the top of the mountain. Beautiful, well kept house.

Perfect Mountain house

Came here to celebrate a birthday and loved our stay. By far one of my favorite houses I have ever personally been able to rent for a weekend getaway. Easy drive to the town or activities, but honestly spending time at just the house with your group is fine too. If I ever have the chance again I will come back.

Just Like Home

Some rentals can feel foreign, but not this one. We felt like we were at home, very cozy. The house had a great layout, and the stairs were not as bad as we feared. We have a 3 year old, and the stairs were very easy to navigate because of the U shape staircase, wide stairs, and carpeting - that made our lives much less stressful! The view and deck were amazing to sit and enjoy, and the location was so close to Boone & Blowing Rock.

Perfect location, perfect views!

I’ve never seen this kind of view without having to white knuckle it up a narrow, curving mtn road for 20 mins. The drive up was a dream! Not to mention how close it is to all our favorites… tweetsie, mystery hill, Linville, Moses cone & grandfather…. Etc! The house itself was gorgeous and more than spacious for four of us. The windows sold it for me and they did not disappoint. Bonus: great mattresses. Highly recommend this one!!

Excellent location and the views were amazing!

Our family of 4 included 2 kids ages 3 & 8. They loved picking out their bedrooms and playing on the deck after getting a bit of surprise snow! The views can’t be beat and everyone enjoyed the bear decor, though thankfully we only saw deer and no bears. The hot tub worked perfectly, we loved having access to that. Initially I thought the foosball table would be a hit, but the 3 year old was unable to play as it was too tall and the handles were right at eye level. So be aware if you bring littles. I do wish the kitchen had been better stocked. It had everything we needed in terms of dishes, pots, and pans. But we really could have used a few things we forgot… aluminum foil, scotch tape, a few sandwich baggies, cinnamon, rubber bands, a chip clip. The only cleaner we could find for the counters was a very small bit of Windex. I would recommend having an all-purpose cleaner spray on-hand. I’m used to having these types if things in previous rentals. The location was perfect to access everything we needed…downtown Blowing Rock, downtown Boone, the Blowing Rock, Tweetsie, all that. It was pretty close to a Food Lion too. Great rental!

Perfect for a small group!

We had a girls weekend and this was a great place to stay. Lots of sleeping options. The hot tub was a nice amenity. We made one maintenance call and it was immediately addressed. Great spot.
