The employee at the check-in counter was a bit unfriendly. I understand that the hotel has rules, but she made things unnecessarily difficult because the person who had made the reservation was elsewhere, occupied with college graduation matters. The place itself is very clean, though there was little variety at breakfast. They also do not allow guests to take food out of the designated breakfast area. The surrounding neighborhood is extremely scare. Directly across the street is a field where teenage baseball teams play. There isn't much variety in terms of restaurants in the area. There are many people around who appear to be mentally ill or struggling with substance abuse. One feels unsafe in the neighborhood.
