Worst experience with host
We've been VRBO customers for more than 10 years. This is the by far the worst communication we've had with a host over that time. Marina, working under the Orchid group, downgraded the paid-for unit from a three- to a two-bedroom unit and relocated the rental from Cambridge to Seaport without any kind of notification. We realized the scam only when driving into Boston with the address given for check-in and pin from VRBO page being miles apart. When reached for explanation, Marina lied multiple times, stating the unit had the same floor plan, furniture moved from one place to the other or that the new unit would fit our family of five with a queen sofa bed in the living room (spoiler - it did not! It was a two bedroom, 4 people unit!), even went as far as stating we were upgraded for free before stating the paid-for unit in Cambridge was a dump compared to the one in Seaport... She also refused to take a phone call or call back, being satisfied with texting false statements. We never got to see the (dazzling - or disgusting) unit we paid for in Cambridge, although we were giving a 250 USD refund for our trouble.
We'll never ever rent for Marina or the Orchid group again.
