“Clean and cute! First experience with wood heated sauna! ”

“Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes……

“We really enjoyed our weekend here. Quiet and secluded, but still very close to Grand Marais. A path just outside accesses a whole network of trails, we hiked to Pincushion Mountain. And the SHT connects here as well if you want to go further. The furnishings are simple in a very nice way; a folding table with two folding chairs, an electric kettle and a mini fridge are great for morning coffee or simple meals. The only thing we would have changed would be trading the two twin beds for a single……

“We had an amazing 4-day getaway for MEA break! Fantastic communication with the hosts, and the house was beautifully set up with everything labeled so we knew where things were. The kids (as well as the adults) had a great time with both the game garage full of old arcade games, foosball, and ping pong, and also all of the board game choices inside the house. The rooms were clean and spacious, and there was a great fire pit out back for our last night of s’mores. The location was a perfect……

“Beautiful, comfortable home in a lovely, secluded setting but still close to everything. Great central location to explore the North Shore area! Plenty to do on the property for families/kids/teens, and plenty of space for everyone to have privacy AND group time. Would recommend for sure!”
