Location is everything

Fantastic location for watching the sea and getting down to the beach for that early morning swim! Clean well appointed house with (almost) everything you need for a great holiday.

Property lovely,clean,comfortable and well equipped. Location ideal.The stairs were a little struggle for 2 in the group.Otherwise it was lovely.Harriet failed to return two of my calls which wasn't helpful or professional.

Family house

This was an ideal find for us. We had 6 adults, a 5 year old and a baby. The garden is secure so as the children could play out safely. We spent most of our time in the evening sitting outside or around the kitchen table. We cooked breakfast they have every pot, pan and utensil you could need, apart from a grill pan which we got over. This property is only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The only negative thing I have to say is there isn’t a mirror in the basement bedroom for drying your hair, but again I got over it. This property was a fabulous find and we will definitely return.

Great location, great stay

The property was as advertised, smooth arrival process and perfect for our group. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable, rooms and linens clean. The week we visited was very hot and the house did heat up due to all the windows. We loved hearing the seagulls and being so close to the beach, and the house was perfect for our needs. A barbecue and wall mounted air conditioning unit on the master level would make this truly 5* for a summer stay. Would stay here again.

Plenty of space

It is a pity the first impression is tired décor and a broken blind, as the property is very good, with plenty of room for the family to spread out, then come together in the communal rooms.

Perfect Location, Fantastic Property

What a fantastic house! We spent a fabulous week here, the property was clean and comfortable for 8 of us. Easy walking distance to beach and amenities and just a short drive to all the area has to offer.

Booked again

We booked two weeks at your 4-bedroom house in Sandbourne Road. A perfect home for a holiday, close to the beach with far-reaching views. We all enjoyed ourselves and hardly moved from the immediate area. The house itself was modern and comfortable. We liked it so much we have booked next year. Smart Homes Rental was efficient, friendly, and quick to respond and their cleaning service was professional.

Lovely property in a great location

We had a lovely stay at the property in April 2021 as a family of 5. This is a comfortable house in a perfect location, just a few minutes walk to a gorgeous beach (even with a 1, 4 and 6 year old in tow!) Some of the rooms could perhaps do with a little updating in view of the price but all are cosy and comfortable. The bathrooms are lovely. When we arrived the property really smelled bad. We opened every single door and window to air it out. We believe this is just due to the covid / lockdown situation - we were likely the first people to have stayed here for a very long time. The heating wasn’t good and it took a long time for the house to warm up. Obviously not a problem if you stay in summer. There was no travel cot on arrival despite the listing saying there was one in the property and having specifically requested one also. However Smart Homes were very helpful and immediately sorted this out. They were very responsive with every request. It’s only possible to get internet in one room of the house (both my husband and I found this - both with the WiFi on or off, and we have separate phone providers). The house is split over 4 floors so I wouldn’t recommend it for people with young toddlers who are just learning to navigate stairs.

Nice house, great location but the decor and condition getting tired.

We've stayed at this house for around 4 or 5 years and have always enjoyed it due to its excellent location and convenient layout. Since being built the house doesn't appear to have been updated, decorated or refreshed at all. What was once a nice, clean fresh house is now paint marked, carpet stained, well worn and past it's best. The rental increases each year, by some measure, but it's no longer worth the price being asked.

Great stay

Great house in a really good location. Minutes walk from the beach and a short drive from Westbourne. There was something to do everyday with two toddlers even though it rained. The house is cosy, well kitted out and very comfortable.

Large, modern, well equipped, comfortable house

Very unusual house on 4 floors!! Exceptionally well appointed rooms in quiet road near the beach and a great Italian restaurant just down the hill. We did have a few problems with the alarm, the hot water and various kitchen utensils being dirty but otherwise a very enjoyable stay
