「The overall area of the guesthouse is quite large, they have two dining areas (though only one was used) and a small manmade pond with seating area around it. 「The boat was nice. It’s not the luxury liners you see, but it was a nice size and the rooms were good. The dinning area was cozy making it great for mingling with other passengers. The top deck was nice. What made the trip for us was the food and the staff. The staff were wonderful. Very kind and friendly and helpful and the food was amazing!! We were fortunate to share our tour with a group of locals. They treated to a very special meal, but even without that the food was delicious and...

「The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs...

「The location it’s far away from downtown, and the transportation it’s limit and expensive.. if you travel with family it’s not convenient because of the transportation and lack of restaurants around … the staff and the owner it’s super nice .. but they don’t clean and I rooms are not clean enough… 」
