We arrived on Friday night and had no Internet. The pots and pans were filthy and/ or burnt, the kitchen faucet and sink have rust on them, the outlets on the island weren’t working, the sheets in the master bedroom were dirty, the screen over the pool had an opening by the dock, the trash can was broken, and there was no air conditioning (this was in June). Because it was the weekend the property management company was not available. When they came out Monday evening, they gave us new sheets, a new trash can, and put in an order for the router to be looked at by the service provider, and for the air conditioning. They were able to go to the breaker to resolve the outlets on the island not working. Apparently a storm came Friday before our arrival and lightning hit the house knocking out the router and the air conditioning. The air conditioning was fixed Tuesday evening. Unfortunately the internet service provider wasn’t able to come until Wednesday. So we only had Internet for 2 1/2 days. The property management company was very apologetic and gave us a partial refund without us having to ask.
The house is right on an inlet, so if you like fishing you can fish on the dock. The house is also close to the beaches and restaurants, which was quite nice. The owner of the home has left a lot of wonderful pool and beach equipment. Unfortunately they were filthy and covered in dead insects. If the equipment was maintained and perhaps a little bit of remodeling in the kitchen and master bathroom, this place would be a gem!
I do appreciate how pleasant and responsive the property management company was.
