“You don't get good feeling when you get into the room and there weren't shampoo/body wash (delivered next morning). There is no reception and a call to the hotel, it was received by property manager. She mentioned that we didn't had the reservation from Expedia but upon insisting, she found it and took 10 mins to arrive for letting us in. “The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. “We were walking the Pennine Way and stopped off at Bongate House after reaching Dufton and after walking/backpacking for most of the day. "It’s a B&B style hotel in Lake District. It’s best for driving but there’s bus stop just outside the hotel. The staff welcomed us warmly. The room is clean and tidy. There’s no telecom network coverage. The room is also covered by WiFi though it was more stable near the door. We also had dinner in the hotel which we enjoyed the evening with descent food. The breakfast was complimentary and it’s at very high quality,"
