Great small hotel, the suites are large very comfortable bed and clean. Be prepared to walk, only 10-15 min walk to centre Old Town. Definitely recommend!!

Nice and quiet area. A bus connection but not on weekends. Hotel staff super nice and friendly. A room was clean but smelled funky (maybe a cleaning agent?) the whole time, also found some ants in the bathroom. A breakfast not the greatest, for the price one would expect better. Overall price-quality per night not great.

Very nice hotel.

Lovely hotel. Very close to city attractions and restaurants. Staff were great. Car park was good (we were on a motorbike and the car park is very uneven being on a hill). The room as excellent. Air con great too.👍. Wouls stay again if in area.

I really enjoyed the location. Staff was always helpful. Walkable distances to old town and other areas of interest. Buses and scooters down the street available as well. generally a decent stay all in all. Great room size and bathroom. Spa service was decent as well. Only slight knock is allergy friendliness. There are a lot of wall to wall carpets that make it sub optimal if you hypoallergenic. Apart from that good value for money and i would deffo stay here again if the prices are still reasonable in the future.

Calling it 4 star is a bold move

Years ago, I used to work as a hotel reviewer. One hotel I had to review was MaMaison in Prague. It was fantastic. When I saw MaMaison in Bratislava, I was expected a similar condition. Boy, was I setting myself up. Since my arrival, I have come to find out that there is a renovated part of the hotel and an unrenovated part (?) and I'm in the latter. It does look like something was done since 1980, but it was done poorly and doesn't even come close to resembling the pictures online. Sure, there's a great view of the castle from my room but that's it. There's a kitchen which would be great if I wanted to cook, but I don't know what we'd eat on since there are no plates and no silverware. For a 4-star hotel, I would've expected a bottle of water - but no. The "designer" toiletries basically means they're using a brand you've seen before - calling it designer really sets one up for expectation. There was only shower gel and hand wash - no lotion or anything else. I asked about room service and was told that since no one really used it, it wasn't available regardless of what the website said. Did I sleep ok? Yes. The bed was comfortable. Was it an overall decent stay for 80 bucks? Yes. However, it should be a 2-3 star, max (though I've stayed in many better 3 stars before). A vacuum would do wonders for the carpet. It was quiet and my car was safe but calling it a 4 star hotel is a stretch. I didn't even bother asking about my free bottle of wine.

My room was large, stylish and comfortable and also offered a great view of Bratislava castle. Breakfast options were a little limited, but hotel is also a short walk from the centre of town and close to most transport options. Very happy with the stay.
