“Great and did the job for what we needed. Thank-you!”

“Check in was simple. Brean beach is fantastic for long walks. Brean itself isn’t so great. The accommodation was basic, smelt damp. Oven was filthy. Not somewhere I would recommend. Overpriced for what it was.”

“ideal for two people. it was comfortable and clean close to all local areas would use cottage again”

“The Stable was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Cosy, clean and modern and there was some sloe gin on arrival! One criticism would be the poor water pressure (I know there is not much that can be done unless a booster pump is fitted). This made the shower quite slow and also filling the kettle was slow. The Bluetooth speaker was a good addition and also Effy the very friendly cat!”

“Fabulous place, would highly recommend and visit myself again.Easy walk to get to a nice Pub for food, short drive/walk to Retail Park.Coastal drive into Weston Super Mare (5 minutes)”

“Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus ! Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe. Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code. Not ideal ….……

“Short two day break, sadly the property is in need of some investment, beautiful quiet location and check in was easy however property had a number of issue from cleaning issues to larger ones.Bed very uncomfortableNo linen provided for sofa bed One oven not working at allcarpeted bathroom that was in need of replacement, damp around toilet and showermould around shower seals dirty shower headdirty towelsIn all we were left disappointed and left a night early, luckily it was only two hours from……

“The property is stunning, and the views are fabulous! I also noticed that the beds are very comfortable, everyone slept well. Overall, we have had a brilliant stay. The only thing I would mention, is considering the amount of money spent, I was surprised with how much was asked of you to do before leaving as early as 10am, I also had an email saying don’t strip the beds, but a text message an hour before we have to be out, to say we did have to strip the beds? I would just make sure any text……

“Very quiet and quite private, especially as the owners were away. However their lovely friendly cat kept us company. Very good local small supermarket and petrol station within walking distance, also an excellent community cafe (the Market Kitchen). Comfortable bed, and even though the weather was v. hot it was quite cool in the cottage. Plenty of space for two, might have been a bit cramped for a family.”

“We had a wonderful week at the cottage despite the poor weather. The cottage was warm and comfortable and the beds were amazing, so comfortable. The bathroom was really nice with a wonderful rain forest shower.Gail and Richard made us very welcome and were always around if we had any problems but not intrusive. All in all it was a great stay, even my mum who is 92 loved it and we will definitely be returning next year.”

“The accommodatiom was great not far from Cardiff and Barry Island for day trips and there is nice walks near by. We planed are trip to do Barry inland and Cardiff castle and we also done Caerphilly castle we all had a lovely week stay would recommend.”

“A well equipped ground floor apartment in a beautiful country setting. Simple contactless check-in and out. Great shower, good bed, well equipped kitchen and easy parking. The host was really friendly and helpful, with fast response too. Would definitely recommend a stay.”

“Had a lovely stay at Meadow View and were lucky enough to enjoy warm spring weather. The bungalow has everything needed for self-catering, well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable seating and beds. The sea views are absolutely stunning and the garden is well stocked with flowers, trees and shrubs. All in all, a great place to stay\ ”
