“How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place.……

“This is a. Older home with updates. The kitchrn Is an awesome remodel. Only has a large couch which was Comfortable the rest of furniture are wood chairs. The bed was too soft for us. Very nice and quiet neighborhood and the house was clean. Would recommend this place for a short stay. Large back porch and screened in fence for dogs. Big refrigerator too with ice maker. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. There is a carport to park in and 2 comfy chairs on front porch. Large TV also……

“The space itself was great, clean and spacious, and easy to check in & out of. Had all the basic amenities. The problem with this rental was the noise that woke us up at 7 AM both mornings. There was a toddler running back and forth loudly right above our room, furniture being moved and hammering every morning beginning at 7 and ending around 10:30 / 11am. To give context on how loud this was, my partner sleeps with noise canceling ear buds and was still woken up both mornings. In the bedroom……

“We’ve stayed here multiple times and have enjoyed every occasion!”

“This was a mother/daughter trip and it was fantastic! The house is very clean, quite and friendly neighbors. Within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.”

“A very comfortable farmhouse with everything one might need - from kitchen utensils, 1st aid kit, plenty of towels/washclothes, to comfortable chairs and nice king-size bed. The Owner, JR was quick and easy to communicate and most gracious and understanding. And the farmhouse location was superb - 10 minutes to the Pisgah National Forest for wonderful hiking, 10 minutes to Brevard and its world-class Music Festival, 45 minutes to Ashville with its many excellent restaurants, 30 minutes to……

“The space was perfect for the two of us and our two pups. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do and was played out really well. 10 out of 10!”

“My. dogs and I had a fabulous stay at The Red Cottage. I can't say enough about the cottage itself, clean, cozy, comfortable and a great porch. The dogs loved the fenced yard. The location was convenient to downtown and outdoor activities. I look forward to returning sometime in the future and would recommend the Red Cottage without reservation.”
