「We stayed here for one night before dropping our daughter off at camp…perfect stay and great location!」

「We stayed here one year ago and all was good but on this trip we were given a room with a foul odor that smelled like wet carpet. The towels and wash cloths still looked dirty and the TV didn’t work. Thankfully there was other rooms available and the staff was more than helpful to give us another room. The only other issue was that the breakfast was not good at all and food that should have been kept warm was cold. We probably will not be back to this location again.」

「Everything was great. Our family had a great stay. The one aspect that gave us pause was there’s a barn/sliding door for the bathroom. Having a door that closed would have been preferable. =0)」

「This place looked deserted when I arrived, but found the interior at least looking like a business. The rooms are in a separate building from the office with the ice machine a walk away. Property has not been retained for a long time it appears. Curtains, torn door shows light all around it. The room was clean, but that’s about the best I can say. Ron, the desk clerk was extremely helpful, but had to search to get a working hairdryer.」

「The bed was not great and the bathroom was not up to the standards of this chain. The staff were exceptionally good, worthy of any high end establishment. Breakfast was cheap and not on par with the standards of this chain.」

「They are trying to renovate an old Victorian house, but really do not seem to have any experience with hotels or B&B's. The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. We waiting several minutes for the hot water in the shower and eventually took two back to back cold showers . There was no table or dresser to put our stuff on, so we had everything on the floor. 「There was things under the couch and sink I Couldn't identify, objects that I could not reach and didn't really want to. I spilled some lemonade on the floor accidently. I used a hand towel to clean it up and the towel was black. It was obvious the floor had not been mopped. The light in the bathroom was out. Water pressure was very poor. Bath faucet was loose, shower had two settings and sounded like a jet taking off in both. Ancient toilet, very low, had to push the handle down and hold it...

「The entire premises were well maintained. It felt like I was in tiny village which was cool. The room was very clean and cozy. The only thing that stood out to me was the smell in the room. It smelt like moisture which made it feel a humid even with AC on blast. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot and would certainly stay here again. It’s very close to town and to many famous hiking spots. There are plenty of eating options whether upscale or laid back. This is a prime location indeed.」
