“Nice big room and big bathroom. Easy access. Clean”

“I thought this was a unique hotel because, (at least the suite I had) had a huge amount of space and a jetted tub overlooking the lake. The view is spectacular and if you don’t mind cold water the lake is right there to wade in. Breakfast was alright definitely about what you’d expect from a hotel. Overall staff was friendly and courteous and very easy to navigate the area.”

“I booked this stay after seeing some of the pictures from the website. Really liked the lake front and beach bar never seen other places that have a 24 hour pool. Only thing I didn’t know when arrived that the lobby is at the top of driveway when coming off the street walked back up hill to check in.”

“I should have had more realistic expectations but the pictures online are vastly different than the actual property. Pool and hot tub were dry and probably haven’t had water in them for several years. Rooms were dark and extremely dated. I will say the room was pretty clean. I booked 2 nights and stayed one.”

“check in was nice. friendly staff. we brought ferry tickets and they were able to call a shuttle bus to take us to the ferry. we came as a big family. my room was ok but one of the rooms outlets were not working. the pool was clean. breakfast was adequate.”

“Took my parents to the UP for the first time and they loved their room! Bed was extremely comfortable, everything was super well cleaned, and the location of the motel is perfect for people wanting to go to Mackinaw Island and come back on the same day. I’ll stay here again in a heart beat.”

“Smelly- air fresheners so strong trying to hide the must and mold smell. We left and asked for money back. Ty to front desk for assistance. They also agreed the room was terrible.”
