“Our stay at Samasati was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was so beautiful - we saw so much wildlife and loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and waking up with the birds and monkeys. “Nice hotel with good breakfast. The staff was friendly. Good parking possibilities. The only negative was that they did not serve any food (except breakfast) and that the roof made a lot of noise when it was raining (there are some kind of plastic protection on the roof of the room which make the rain sound a lot, hard to sleep without earplugs). ”

“We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. We arrived late but had a nice dinner at Banana Azul and then were able to use the easy to follow directions to gain access to the property and our room. The room was spotless and welcoming. “It’s a family run business and the owner was super nice and helpful , the property was peaceful , the only noise was the wild animals on the property like howler monkeys and lots of exotic bird species , the owner prepared a papaya from the tree right in front of our room , it was delicious. I would recommend this property for people that want a truly Costa Rican experience without all the crowds of the towns . Loved our stay at Casa Conley 10 out of 10 , can’t wait to visit again ✌”
