“Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights……

The staff was also super helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The main issue we had was with the room. Unfortunately, our room did not have AC, which made it uncomfortable at times, especially at night. “The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. ”

Raft in and out via the Pacuare river and be completely enveloped by the forest and river in the middle of nowhere while having high level meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, incredible adventure programs like zip lining through the canopy and repelling down little waterfall. “Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand.”
